Dead Island ACT 3

I know it has been a long time since the last part of this review as it has taken me ages to play it because of  work friends and general time wasting on other games. Developments from last time story has gotten a lot more stupid starting off with the big one cannibalism of dead zombies by random tribes men who buy slaves and sell slaves yes this pisses me off a lot as i can never agree with slavery and cannibalism. New enemies are butchers and convicts as you end up in a prison; butchers are zombie that regenerate health if you do not kill them fast enough you can get an achievement if you kill it with an axe which is easy enough to do convicts are just humans in orange jumpsuits so easy enough again.

You can do side missions in co-op you just have to not start doing the main quest so you can do side missions this mad co-op longer and slightly more fun, but this game is starting to draw towards it's conclusion  with all the main character falling into place I am hoping it will be a nice and huge ending and not be like borderlands where it just fizzles out.

There may be better sources for reviews but they do not have this word Slice of Kris wait that is a phrase my bad well it will have to do.

News time

Hello and welcome to Tuesday i think i might make this news day, now on with the news Amazing race started airing on tv this week i always have been a fan of this series they have an ex football colts player ex Olympic snowboarders and ex survivor players. In gaming news LoL's new map dominion is out like WoW's arena there are several points have to capture them, Star wars mmorpg pricing is out it is monthly subscription Diablo 3 beta keys are out and more will be coming so make a battle net account DO WANT! world of sport New Zealand and Australia are tops of their pools hooray.

Tv shows that have started airing how i met your mother, american dad, family guy, modern family the middle dirty little liars 2 broke girls storys of playboyclub and so many many more got to love September tv shows.

Dominion First Look part 1

Dominion is in closed beta it is a finished map type so not sure why it is called a beta why not just early access. Also it is not closed beta it is restricted timed beta as you can only play when riot says you can play it at least it is open for all to play though so why don’t they just release. I am going to answer these questions and a few others plus I will go on to some of the Meta game currently going through the minds of the public.

Recently I talked to a riot employee on the server side of the game league of legends this is what he had to say (disclaimer I am not a journalist and this was not a recorded interview so a lot of what I am about to say is paraphrased and should not be used as facts). I know that a lot of us Aussie gamers like the game league of legends and its fast gameplay and something we all want to know when are we going to split from US servers and get pings under 150. We cannot split the US server at this point in time as it cost a lot of time and resources which we do not have but it is something we are greatly interested in doing in the future as we are a big population of the gaming industry. I next asked him why dominion is not out yet; Dominion is not out because it would put too much strain on the server and the queue times would just grow exponentially throughout the day and would eventually maybe even crash the server with all the people wanting to play it. This was proven as on peak time when dominion was up for four to six hours the queue times rose to 15 to 25 minutes so if they let it go all day I can only imagine it would keep going up and up. In the end it all comes down to their number one issue SERVER STABLITY which stops them from releasing dominion and from attempting to spend time and energy on a split on an already unstable servers so remember most reasons for not releasing stuff will probably be because of server stability.

For the rest of this week and next week I plan on releasing small updates all based on dominion strategies Meta game and who are strong and who are weak on this field of justice till next slice of Kris.

Winter Tv shows are back

I am very very very excited as my most loved tv shows are coming back which includes cougar town (get over it), How i met your mother (barney getting married called it 5$ the bride robin does not go through with it), Always sunny in Philadelphia, Archer, Modern family, The middle and 30 rock. There may be more but this is by far my favorite season for tv games movies and anime cause they bring out stuff that they want to win awards with as it is also time for Emmy and globes and what ever other things they give to stuff for being good.

Needless to say i hope you will enjoy me during the best season of the year btw also summer in Australia my favorite weather climate because you can go to the beach the pool play outside without needing 100 layers of clothing just good times i might make a lets play over the break as i will have time off and it is something i always wanted to do may even make some machinima videos and send it to directors at machinima :P.

So the best season of they year may you enjoy some slice of kris during it.

Death Valley, Awkward and Doctor who

Yes, more tv show reviews now i am sure you will enjoy these reviews as much as i enjoy writing them.

Death Valley: zombie werewolves vampires MTV what a great mix this show is a very funny take of this strange outbreak only located in the valley of California great show if you enjoy comedy and zombies and hate twilight.

Awkward: about some brat who is sixteen having sex with the popular guy but she has no self confidence has a bad night and accidentally overdoses on some sleeping drug or something. The rest of the series about her relationships and her social standing and how it progresses not recommended to watch unless you enjoy this sort of thing which i am sure a lot of you do not enjoy it.

Doctor who: second half of this years season has started up at it's third episode of the series and it is starting to pick up in complexity again i recommend you watch this if you are fans of time travel aliens monster anything of that sort.

again another slice of kris please enjoy in the correct manor.

Dead Island ACT II

A lot of my views on Dead island has changed some are for the better other are for worse, first off you could go to an abandoned house and there would not be any where as near as many bugs as dead island from being able to walk off the map and see through entire buildings that you should not be able to. Most frustrating of which is when you swap the key binding like most gamer's would so 'e' is interact and 'f' is kick for some reason when you do this it splits the jobs in weird way 'e' interacts with most things but not all and 'f' kicks and interacts with stuff as well. This lead to me kicking zombies in a doorway which made my character both kick the zombie and open and shut the door many times lead to bugs where zombies get stuck in the doors or in a wall.

Storyline has grown but still as boring as ever but it is still early days as there are 4 ACTs and the writers might of released that they were boring us and actually started writing something interesting and decent. The combat has grown on me even though it is slow and at sometimes very strange but it also benefits the better players who can time a strike to get the instant kill head shot. The infected have pissed me off the most as they spawn in pairs and at the most rude times as well as spawning in strange places. For insistence we cleared an area then a started collecting items off the dead zombies then they spawn behind us in the area we just cleared. I know this is done so that we would be constantly looking behind us but they could of at least give a little warning like a distinctive roar to let us know of impending charge.

We have now met chargers, humans, vomiting zombies and gas zombies and they all have a unique feel to them which is nice and even though they share characteristics with left 4 dead special zombie they are very different and not so hiding in the shadows more triumphantly facing you head on. fun fact there is not night time on dead island it is a state of perpetual sunlight or twilight and it is clear days have past from the way the locals talk since the outbreak i have no idea why they could not of added night and day to this game it would of made it more scary and less your "actually playing a game where you kill humans for no reason they just happen to be called zombies".

This is all i have so far so remember you can never have enough pie just like you can never have enough slices of Kris!

Dead island a first look ACT I

Well guys i am going to review dead island for the next few weeks as i play co-op with my friends i may even livestream some of it as i go so keep checking in with my livestream channel from time to time.

First look so far is goodish had decent graphic but mind you they are fairly out dated though next movement of both fighting and moving around is very very slow and sluggish. The rpg system is somewhat pointless except that it gives  no real benefits there is class skill like in borderlands where each person has a special skill which is strong. The co-op is very fun and enjoyable storyline so far was very involved at the moment but not the reason for playing this game.

Best game to compare it to is also the worst game to compare it too which is borderlands both 4 player co-op rpgs with a lot pointless quest and sub par storyline but borderlands even though it is 4 years older has same graphics and better game play but it does not have zombies!

I recommend getting this game with 3 of your friends it is a lot of fun walking on the beach beating in a few zombie skulls maybe while enjoying a slice of kris!

Good times on hotel portal 2

I know the title does not quite work but it allowed me to put portal 2 in the name so i am going with it.

One thing i loved about it straight off the bat 3 times longer than portal 1 and 7 times more story only problem none of the puzzles used elements to full potential probably because they were distracted with making gladOS a "good guy" and that it was not her fault she went crazy.

Humor improved in the game but not hard to make stuff funny just attempt to create an inside joke with the player and bam humor got which they did and they did well. Now to be all talking about the story line they had three acts in the game gladOS, Apature Science and Wheatley, each with three distinct feels gladOS which was mostly smoothness but because they place was still rebuilding first half of act one was to get perception of time between game 1 and 2 which was about 90 months. Apature science act was all prototype looking as it was essentially just a prototype testing area so it was mostly bare and simplistic and not rounded even the button was a square instead of a circle. Last area was Wheatley's act and all the test chambers were rushed and poorly designed and without a lot of though going into the test chambers (besides the fact this had some of the harder tests).

I have not played co-op yet but i will play it and i will also do a small review of that.

Call of Shit special

Call of duty is on special on steam atm on all it's titles except MW3 this not the reason why i am posting this it just reminded me of how much of a ripoff it is both call of duty black ops and MW 2 are both 89.99usd without the sale. They are a year apart and am fairly sure that all of the MW2 online support will be gone moment MW3 comes out so why is it still the same price as MW3. Wait my mistake MW2 is 10$ cheaper than MW3, this is by far the main reason i hate this franchise it just makes us who do not have a lot of disposable income miss out on these above decent games. Instead play much better games like the battlefield series that drops in price so much faster and does not feel like it is trying to steal from you.

Do not get me wrong i do not hate CoD series for what it has done to the fps genre (only allowed 2 guns)this does annoy me but that is just other publishers trying to make CoD copy's i but this pricing for a "good CoD copy" because it is a CoD game is stupid every year another 100$ for essentially the same game with different skins. if they lowered their price of their games i would feel more inclined to buy their games 99.99 USD vs 39.99pounds which is about 70USD you know where i am going to spend my hard earned money.

I hope this makes you stop being blind but w/e i know your going to by CoD anyway no matter how much they scam you and i am sure i will too.
