DotA 2 is the HD remake of the famous Warcraft 3 mod DotA made by the current DotA up keeper, and it is a full 1:1 remake of the mod and I hate it. I hate that this is a 1:1 remake as all the bad things of DotA making no skill ranges no ability to zoom out further, the new features they added is a very confusing shop where you cannot find anything as it is set out badly even buying stuff is hard as instead of left clicking to buy you have to right click making it have a huge difficulty curve for new comers.
I would continue to talk about this but you can play HoN which is same game just even harder to see what is going on.

GDC 2012
The games Developer's conference was last week and there were a lot of speculation revealed answers finally given from developers we have been asking for the past 2 months and an exclusive look into how and what games developers will be doing in the next year.
As I did not go to GDC because I live in Australia and do not have the money so enough about that I know I have not been posting a lot lately but that is because I have university and between social life and study been having trouble finding the the motivation to type this as it requires me to research. Alas GDC is a decent enough even I can give you a nice highlight of the entire thing.
EA had a lot of announcements first they had Simcity which apparently had a global warming speech then they had Bf 3 dlc reveal which got sidetracked with war talk to some "GI JOES" both made the gaming press feel uneasy. Both of these things I am looking forward to with excitement both have loose release dates June 2012 for bf3 and early 2013 for simcity. Assassin creed content got released like crazy as they have finished ezio's arc at long last it is going to be set in civil war america the one against the Brits not the south, it is said that the new protagonist is part Indian so will be nice learn more about him by Indian I mean american Indian not India Indian(how many times can I say Indian in one sentence right). Mass Effect 3 also came out on the Monday of GDC which had a shit ending I am sure I will beat Mass Effect 2 some time, they also held back content from the game for a day 1 dlc which also got fans angry having to buy the game and less than a week after release forced to spend more money on it. In more EA related news I know assassin creed did not fit here just how I write stuff as I research it there was a new Metal of Honour trailer with explosions called MoH Warfighter.
Tony Hawk HD contenues to chug along with maps from the first 3 game and is said that dlc will be maps from all the other Tony Hawk games (do not have a decent link for this). Valve stop speculation on everything about the steam box half life 3 and cs:go being cross platform (that's right no longer cross platform). Blizzard announces their love hate for us by removing pvp from launch of Diablo 3 so it will come out faster thank the god's!. There was also a bunch more awards called GDCA with even more words after that mostly indie games for innervation and Skyrim!.
That is about it for GDC there may of been some hardware and engine stuff i did not talk about BECAUSE I cannot talk about stuff I have no information on. Until next time which I would love to say would be soon as I have played plenty of game to completion that I could review just finding the time to do is hard plus motivation anyway cya around sport.
