Tribes Ascent: Open beta

I know I have not done a post in a while and who cares if you do leave a comment, let me know you exist but Tribes Ascent has been in development for little over a year now and is in open beta meaning anyone can join this is pretty much the full product of the game except their will be a few more features like profiles and cha services that have yet to be fully implemented into the game. https://account.hirezstudios.com/tribesascend/ <--- this is the link to sign up for open beta and the full game when it is released I am assuming in about three months now this came out about 4 days ago and I have only played it for 2 days so I cannot give the most comprehensive review yet but from what I have played so far this is a most unique fps with heavy influence from the unreal tournament series by EPIC games.

It is unique for 2 features one being different armour classes I know no so unique but still better than just different classes mean different type of weapons the other is skiing skiing is just how it sounds you slide around the map as if you are surfing from cs surf maps. Which leads to a fast pace game where you are constantly movie to make it easier to shot others and if you stop moving you become an easy target, every single game mode available at the moment revolves around a flag for no reason but to give the people something to aim for besides just mindlessly killing each other it also includes my favourite game mode Capture the Flag love playing this in real life love playing it in computer games.

On a side note sony's the tester season 3 started 3 weeks ago with promise of Egoraptor and he is already removed I vote we all go egg sony's front door he was the only sane person on that crappy piece of programming. Recently THQ has dropped in stock price and could fall apart to rectify this situation there has been layoffs and the CEO has taken a huge pay cut if THQ does not get their stock price back above 1$ they will no longer be eligible for public stock from what I can understand. Sony has also been going into the red reporting 2.03 billion dollars of loss even with earning 29 million in revenue Sony has also had a change in management with Kazou Hirai as the new CEO maybe he can pull Sony out of this down spiral. In happier news Electronic Arts sales report for the Q3 are as following Battlefield 3 selling a 11 million copies not to be out done Fifa sold 10 million and 39 million$ of micro transactions how many we do not know were from stolen accounts. EA's WoW fighter has sold 2 million unit which is good for only being out for little over a month with 1.7 million being current subscribers pity this game has not released in Australia the jerks I do not know or even see why this is the case maybe their is some problems with the rating and the game needs to be changed to fit with out lack of R rating even though it is barely worthy of a MA rating.

Fans of Alan Wake will be getting a pc port of the entire game very soon, also releasing soon Gotham city impostors, Witcher 2 console port with Soulcalibur 5 and Final Fantasy XIII-2 already been released this month. Xbox 720 not being shown at E3 this year which is good news because the leaks of the parts the new Xbox might have were very poor, WiiU (WEOEOEO) will be releasing some time this year Sony has stated that they are focusing their efforts on the PSP Vita before making PS4 so new PS console will not be coming for at least 2-4 years not that it needs to be replaced yet. 2K may be making a new IP completely unannounced with no details or hints anyone's guess on what it may be this was found on the lead level designers resume of Bioshock.

Midweek madness on steam right now is entire Dawn of War series I recommend these games if you have not got them already greatest thing about them even the expansions for the series are stand alone. In free games news if you liked the command and conquer game's FPS renegade their is a community making a sequel too it on the unreal engine. All that is available at the moment is an un-optimised single player they want to make multiplayer and finish the game entirely at the moment people's mouths in-game do not move neither does your gun when it shoots which can be of putting at times but the lighting and the bullet shots are great their website is http://www.renegade-x.com/ keep your eye on them.

New Hellsing OVA episode is coming out on February 15th and justice league:doom movie on the 28th of February so it is an exciting month in the cartoon world. February is the month of my birth and my father's birth his is on the 2nd which was yesterday and mine is on the 16th which happens to be both our favourite numbers his the number 2 mine the number 16.
